One thing that I needed to learned while developing my score keeper app in Appcelerator Titanium Alloy was how to access objects on my new window and update on these items and properties from my new window.

You can access objects on your main window from any window by first typing in the $ sign. If you type that first you can then hit the control + space bar keys to see items that you can access. For this example I have an image view on my main window named numFirstR2. From the js file I can first type $. and then $.numFirstR2 and this allows me to adjust properties and even triggers to this object.

You may already know this but I found it useful enough to share. For more tutorials and training on Appcelerator Titanium Alloy and basic code check out my training on mylearningdojo.com.
