It has been a while since I have back in jQuery Mobile code but I have been feeling anxious to get back in and try to create something useful. As some of you may know I am a web developer currently in the eLearning realm.......3 Likes
One thing that I needed to learned while developing my score keeper app in Appcelerator Titanium Alloy was how to access objects on my new window and update on these items and properties from my new window. You can access objects on your main window......3 Likes
Jeff Batt has a lot of experience training and does a great job covering what you need to know to create Apps with Titanium. Even if you are inexperienced with coding, you will be able to follow along and learn what is required.
Great to get you started with titanium. Jeff gives a very good explanation of the 2 concepts (classic and alloy). Following his course you will get a basic understating of titanium and in no time you will be making great apps. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who is looking to build cross platform apps in no time !!!
This tutorial was awesome. I was experienced with Classic but no clue on Alloy. I feel confident now in building my apps in Alloy!
A very good course, because it has a very good training structure in how to use and getting to understand Appcellerator, both in classis and the Alloy code. Personally i would like to see a lot more of Alloy code. The trainer of this course, Jeff Batt does a very good job in explaining the procedures, so it is more comprehensible. I will take more courses like this when they get available.
Really enjoyed this course. I like the way the tutor has gotten all the basics down for Appcellerator Titanium, including the Alloy way of doing things. This course fills a void in the current tutorials by breaking down the basics in a clear and meaningful way. Hopefully the author will now do a 'next level' course offering information on MVC with Alloy and it's associated Backbone stack.
Jeff explains things very well, is actually pleasing to listen to, and has structured this course extremely well. His examples are solid and sample files are great.
As a beginner into the world of Titanium Jeff makes it very easy to understand what it is and what the difference between Titanium Classic and Titanium Alloy is. Looking forward to Jeff taking it to the next level :) Recommended.
